Beautiful Barney is blind – but don’t be sad for him! With his Springer Spaniel super nose combined with his Collie’s super intelligence he’s as capable of living life to the full as any sighted dog. He loves people, having a fuss, going on long walks and splashing in water. Nothing could keep Barney’s spirits down. He was born to be cheerful!

But they need to stay together, and Zac needs daily insulin injections, so home offers have not been forthcoming. Please, if you are happy to give injections, take a look at this sweet duo. Abel is looking for a special person who will give him all the love and care he deserves. He needs a home where someone is around most of the time to keep him company. He gets on fine with other dogs and would love a home with another canine companion, but cannot live with a cat. He loves his walks and walks beautifully on the lead and will make a loyal and loving companion to whoever is lucky enough to give him his new home.

You know what they say, “Four legs good, um, three legs better”? Well… they should! David only has three legs but it doesn’t stop him from doing anything fun. Except digging up flower beds. David is a really affectionate boy who lives life to the full. Rolling ecstatically in the grass whenever possible. If you want big canine cuddles and lots of lovely walks (and for your spring bulbs to stay exactly where they are) then David is the perfect match for you!

Cooper (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Super Cooper is a soppy, snuggly boy once he trusts you, but that trust takes time to build up. He’s definitely worth the effort because not only is he gorgeous, playful and very affectionate, he’s also extremely bright! Foxy (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Foxy is lucky to have been taken from her abusive owner, who was then prosecuted and found guilty. Foxy now deserves a home full of love and kindness. She is a loving, amazing girl but is frightened when left on her own. Poor Foxy has also just had a mast cell tumour removed. Everyone is hoping that Foxy’s luck has changed and she has lots of time left, to finally enjoy her life. Foxy deserves someone special. Is that you? 09/02/2017 – Foxy is still waiting!
