8 year old Cassie is a beautiful red staffie girl who is looking for a forever home where she can be the only dog. She’s a very loving girl and really loves human company. She’s very enthusiastic with her love so any children in her new home would have to be big enough not be knocked over.

Denzal finds rescue a stressful place and he desperately needs a home. As he can’t live with dogs or cats, this cuts down his chances. When Chad is pleased or excited he smiles that wonderful happy staffie smile. Have you got a space for this lovely boy in your home. He’s still very active for his 12 years and could live with teenage children but he really needs a quiet, peaceful home with his owner there for most of the time and with no other animals..

Bubba is a very special boy who needs a very special person. Bubba is 15 and he’s blind and deaf. He copes extremely well with his disabilities – as long as a dog has its sense of smell it can usually manage life amazingly well. He is looking for a quiet retirement home – he could live with older children and maybe a quiet, gentle dog.

Handsome Jake is a bundle of fun and loves to play … if only he had someone of his own to play with. He’s approximately 8 years old and is a brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier who would love to have a child-free and pet-free home of his own so that he can get all the fuss and attention.

She’s great with children but doesn’t like other animals and so needs to be an only pet. Davey is a friendly older Staffie who loves fuss and attention and would enjoy a fairly active home. He tried a new home recently, but didn’t cope well with being in a flat, so he’s looking for somewhere with access to a garden. Please give this lovely old boy a chance.

Colonel’s life hasn’t always been happy but he’s a typical staffie so he always looks on the bright side so is hoping that there’s a kind and loving person out there with a space in their heart for him. He’s only 9 years old so has got loads of life left yet – he gets on well with other dogs and loves long, interesting walks.

Tiggs is a sweet and lovely girl who is full of energy! She enjoys the company of people and is keen to learn and interact with them. She is looking for a loving home with experienced owners who can help her settle and adjust. She would like to be your only dog and have all of your attention and love.

Jude has been overlooked for over a year now and her foster family simply can’t understand why. She is the sweetest, easiest, 8 year old Staffy whose only fault is she just may try to raid the fridge! Jude would love a new family to call her own and promises to give you Staffy kisses and the biggest smile in the world when you walk in the room.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the curliest of them all? Blue, of course! He’s a long-haried Rottie with a loving, gentle temperament. He’s great with children, used to living with a cat, and his favourite toy is a mirror. On reflection, he sounds a character!

Ben is a typical staffie – he just loves the company of humans. He’s only 7 or 8 years old so he could provide you with love and canine companionship for many years to come. He’d be quite happy to share his new home with children of 8+ and the company of a nice lady dog would be welcomed.

Eight year old Taz is a timid, but very friendly, Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is finding life in kennels stressful. She loves cuddles, walks and company, so would like someone around for most of the day. She gets on with cats and could live with older children. Could she fit into your home and heart?

Sophie is a lovely affectionate girl who would love to find her new family asap. She is active for her age and could happily live with sensible children over ten who would respect her and give her peace and quiet when she wants it. Could Sophie be a welcome addition to your family??

This lovely boy is Ash, a 7 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Ash has a fabulous temperament and is full of fun. He is good with other dogs and children. He would love a fun home where he can enjoy walks, cuddles and attention.

Bonnie is the victim of a mariage break-up. She’s a lovely 7 year old Staffy who is OK with other dogs. She has some cute black spots and a tan patch on her bottom and tail!

Maude is a real old type Staffordshire Bull Terrier, only 7 or 8 years old. She was saved from death row so now needs a loving new home where she can start afresh. She’s fine with other dogs and old children.

Buster is only 8 years old and has a great temperament even though his life hasn’t been too great so far. He loves everyone he meets and would really benefit from finding his forever home sooner rather than later as, at the moment he’s in kennels which isn’t ideal for such a people loving dog.

Ruby is a loveable older lady with a penchant for smiling and performing a very slow version of mini agility! How could such a special character have been overlooked for 2 years? Ruby is easy to look after as she doesn’t need much exercise and she loves her food (a girl after my own heart!). Do you have room in your heart for Ruby?

Eleven year old Tasha was abandoned and found in a dreadful state, but she’s now happy and hopeful of getting a forever home soon. She’s an affectionate girl and would like a quiet retirement home without young children.

Sam and his ears are looking for a very special new owner who will be around for most of the time as Sam is beginning to suffer from a bit of confusion. However, he’s a really lovely chap and is a great favourite with the Dogs Trust staff so please consider him if you want a loving companion.

Tilly is a 7 year old Bulldog cross who is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She’s described as a kind and gentle girl who is great with children and could be rehomed into a family with children of 9 or over. A better picture and more information is to follow soon.

10 year old Rosie is a lovely laid back girl who just wants someone to love her. This little Staffie doesn’t ask much, just a warm safe place to live and lots of cuddles. She’d like to be the only pet in her new home but could happily live with older children especially if they would play with her.

If you’re at home for most of the day and love Staffies, 9 year old Max is waiting to hear from you. He just adores human company and would repay you with unswerving loyalty and affection. He needs a child and pet free home perhaps with an active retired person or couple. If you want a companion who will stick with you come what may, Max is your lad.

Elsa is a 9 year old Staffie who needs a loving new home where she can get the time and space to settle down. She’s a very friendly girl and doesn’t really like to be left for too long so someone who is at home for most of the time would be ideal. After finding what he thought was his new forever home, Phil has ended up back in rescue after not getting along with a dog in the next door garden. This is a real disappointment for him and it’s high time he had some luck in his life – he really deserves to find people who will love him and not let him down – please help if you can… 9.6.10 Phil is being so patient but he’s still waiting for his new home

Cassie is a loving and well-behaved girl who is great with children and is a pleasure to take for a walk. She is fine to be left alone and is not destructive. She doesn’t like dogs or cats, but as an only pet she will make a fabulous companion. 4/8/2010 Cassie is still waiting

Soul is 11 years old and at an age when he should be enjoying his retirement and some TLC. He was rescued from the pound and almost died from kennel cough. He’s fully recovered now, but needs a permanent home with someone special who can make him feel loved again.

Sadly, Millie and Lily have been in kennels for 2 years after being found dumped in the middle of a dual carriageway. They are both absolutely beautiful dogs who are now struggling with kennel life, but they have hearts of gold and just want to be loved.
