10/3/2010 Great news – Cassie has now found a forever home!

—————–

6.12.09.   Cassie now needs her new home urgently.  Her foster carer is soon to go into hospital and it would be nice if Cassie’s next move was to her forever home.

This happy looking little face belongs to Cassie, a 7 year old Staffie girl who came into rescue as a stray, after spending time in the pound. She is now in the care of Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue.

Cassie looks cheeful in her photo, which is amazing after what she has been through. She was in a bad way on her arrival in rescue and had to have several operations. The staff describe her as an angel, who is good with children and other dogs. In spite of all her traumas she still has a lovely nature. She is sharing a foster home at present with 3 other dogs and she likes nothing better than to snuggle up with them in front of the fire.
A quiet retirement home would suit Cassie best; somewhere where she can plod around the garden in her own way. She is a little arthritic, which means she can’t cope with long walks. In fact she is more than happy to just curl up on your lap for as long as you like!
Healthwise, Cassie is neutered and is on Devils Claw for her joints.

If you enjoy a quiet life and would love your lap to be filled with a loving little companion, then Cassie would be perfect for you.
If you can make Cassie smile even more than she is in her photo, then please contact Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue as follows:
