07/12/2009 Sadly Queenie was found to have a fast growing, inoperable tumour and the sad decision was made to let her go before she suffered too much. Sleep tight, sweet one.

This regal lady is Queenie, a beautiful GSD cross who is about 7-8 years old. She is currently being cared for by Halfway Home Dog Rescue.

Queenie is a calm and placid girl who enjoys gentle walks and is so easy to have around. All she really requires at this time of her life is a lot of love and fuss.

Queenie is a medium sized girl who is about the size of a small German Shepherd. She would fit in well in a home with older children but would prefer to be an only dog because she wants all the fuss and attention for herself! It is unknown how she would be with cats.

When she arrived at the rescue, she had some fatty lumps which have been checked out by the vet and will be removed.

Queenie is so looking forward to having a fireside to call her own this winter and all the attention you can give her!

Can you offer Queenie the love and attention she deserves? If so, please contact Halfway Home Dog Rescue as follows:

Telephone: 0780 800 3152 (Val)
Email: valeriehosegood@yahoo.co.uk

Please mention that you saw Queenie on the Oldies Club website.
