30.12.09  Such sad news today.  Rachel suddenly became very ill with multiple organ failure and had to be put to sleep.  The kennel owner had taken her into the house in order to nurse her so Rachel ended her days in a warm loving place with people who cared about her.

Just look at that wonderful face!   Meet Rachel, a 9 year old boxer/bulldog cross who is in the care of Boxer Dog Rescue in the North West.  They are concerned that Rachel is being overlooked on their website because of course, people looking there are hoping to find a boxer and Rachel does not quite fit into that category!

Rachel is currently in kennels and she’s managing as well as she can but it really isn’t the right place for her.  She has been rehomed before but is back in rescue because she did not see eye to eye with the resident cat.  So, she’d love a home where she is the only dog and where there are no feline residents.  She’s a sweet, loving girl and is great with children.

Can you help Rachel to get out of kennels and into a warm, loving home.   If so, please contact Boxer Dog Rescue NE by completing the form on their website

Please mention that you saw Rachel on the Oldies Club website.
