16/06/10 Connor has found a lovely new home at last!

———–

Connor is a 10 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who has arrived in rescue with the Ark because his owner has sadly passed away.

Connor is a friendly boy and he’s never shown any signs of aggression. He’s good with people, children and other dogs and doesn’t seem to be bothered by the cats at the rescue.

The Ark were told that Connor was house-trained, but he’s had a few accidents recently. It’s likely that this is due to all the stress and recent changes in his life. He also really doesn’t like to be left nowadays, although he used to be in his previous home, so it seems that all these changes have upset him so much that he needs someone to be around all the time. He needs to find some special people who have patience and time to show him that he is safe and loved.

He’s good when travelling in the car and is well behaved both on and off lead, although recall is difficult because he’s deaf.

Connor is quite an active boy and is fit and well, but he does need some stability in his life now. A steady routine with plenty of walks would be great for this lovely fellow.

If you have been moved by Connor’s story and feel that you could help him, then please contact the Ark as follows;
