Merlin is bound to put a spell on you when you read his story! He is a a black and white Border Collie aged about 7 who is under the care of National Animal Welfare Trust in Somerset. If you love Collies, then Merlin will surely catch your eye. He is described as a very motivated Collie and needs to be challenged regularly with training. He will best suited to a home where he is the only dog as he is currently doing training to help him around other dogs and learn to focus on his handler.

He is a friendly boy who could live with confident children aged 10 and over who are used to lively dogs. He could also live with a nice, friendly, confident cat who has been used to dogs.

Healthwise, Merlin will need regular dental health checks as he has had some problems in the past but no medication is needed at present. He is neutered and in otherwise good health.
