23/1/2010 Charlie has a new home!

Charlie is an eight year old red Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is in the care of the Doris Banham Rescue and is kennelled in Nottinghamshire.   He’s an older boy who has just arrived from the dog pound where he was scheduled to be put to sleep on 30th December.     Thankfully Doris Banham Rescue has received enough donations to save this boy’s life along with five others.

As Charlie hasn’t been in rescue for long, not much is known about him but he appears to be a very friendly, loveable older boy who has a bit of a penchant for chasing his tail when excited!   The rescue say: “  It’s really sad to see older dogs in outside kennels when the frost is on the ground and temperatures are dropping to -5 degrees at night so we hope we can get this chap into a home very soon.  Can anyone out there offer this sweetheart guy a home forever?”

Have a look at Charlie’s video and more pictures of him here -  Charlie’s video
