10/1/10 Comet has found a new home after being spotted on the Oldies Club website!

Comet is a beautiful 10 year old collie/hound cross who was rescued from the pound and is now safely in foster care through Animal Helpline.

How anyone could abandon such a lovely girl and at her age is beyond comprehension. Comet is a very calm and gentle girl who wants nothing more than to snuggle up to you. She is now living with 9 other dogs and she gets along with all of them; even the bouncy little pup doesn’t bother her in the slightest.

She also lives with a 6 week old baby and she is very gentle with it and not in the least bit bothered by its crying.

Comet loves being fussed over and groomed. She is in general good health but she does need a good dental which she will be getting soon.

She is just perfect. She will walk as long as you want and is also content with just a short wander round the block. She is wonderful on her lead and during quiet times she loves to snooze on a nice comfy bed or crate and just laze the day away.

Comet would be the ideal dog for an older person looking for that special companion in their lives. She would get along with any grandchildren since she really isnt fussy about who gives her love, adults or children. She will always greet you with a wagging tail and be pleased to see you.

She can be left on her own without any problems and she doesn’t bark at all. All in all, she is a very special easy going perfect friend.
