Hello everyone. My name’s Winnie and I’m a Bull Mastiff X Boxer. I’m 12 years old and I live in kennels at Jerry Green Dog Rescue in Blidworth, Nottinghamshire.

I’ve been here since 2006 and I’ve seen many doggie friends come and go over the years. They tell me that they’re going to their new forever homes, but I don’t think I’ll ever find one of those because no-one seems to want me

The nice people at Oldies Club did a special feature for me, to see if that would help.   So I’m keeping my paws crossed that my special person is out there somewhere.

Even though I’m 12 years old I still love my walks. I’m very good on the lead and I can walk a long way. I especially like to go to different places so I can enjoy lots of interesting new smells.

I’m still quite playful too and I love to be fussed and enjoy human company. I’m very good with children so would be happy to live with a family. The kennel staff at Jerry Greens say I’m a very easy going girl who adapts to new situations very well.

I enjoy having a long snooze in a comfy bed, but I have a problem with incontinence so my bed needs to be changed regularly. If I could find a home with someone who has laminate or tiled flooring I don’t think it would be too much of a problem. I’m on Urilin Syrup for this and Jerry Greens have said that they will continue to pay for that even after I’m rehomed.

I’ll need to be the only dog in my new home and I’d like an owner who will enjoy taking me for regular walks. If I could get some fuss and cuddles thrown in as well I’d be a very happy girl indeed.

Jerry Greens would like me to find either a permanent home or long term foster home. I don’t mind which one I get, as long as I have someone special I can share my life with.
