5/9/08 Dumbo has found a new home at last!

Update 17/1/08 – Poor Dumbo is now 8 years old and has been waiting for his forever home for 3 years! Dumbo is good with other dogs and great with children, although he really needs a quiet home with no young children. Best of all though, Dumbo is even cat friendly! So a super boy all round, deserving of a lovely retirement home.

Dumbo has been cat tested, and as you can see, was more interested in the camera than the cat!

Dumbo is an 8 year old brindle Greyhound boy. He is at Castledon Greyhound Rescue in Essex.

Dumbo is a little timid until he gets to know you but he is a lovely boy who has quite a character when you get to know him.

Poor Dumbo always seems to be overlooked – he has been waiting to be chosen for 2 yrs now, poor lad!

He’s a very good timekeeper and the rescue are convinced he has a clock in his head – he knows exactly what times he is taken into the paddocks and also what time his dinner is served!

Dumbo loves to go for walks and is very in-tune with his handler – he keeps glancing up at you with his big brown eyes. He is very good on the lead, apart from when he gets scared by something, then he does pull a bit.

He really loves being groomed and having his ears rubbed.
