Pip (Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue, West Yorks)

posted in Rehomed Dogs |

15/8/10 Pip has found the perfect home!

Pip is an 10 year old Collie type girl who is in the care of Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue in Bradford because her owner has moved into sheltered accommodation that does not allow pets.

Pip is a sweet girl who will make a loving companion. She’d like a home where someone is around most of the time, and only needs two gentle walks a day, so would be perfect for an older person wanting a calm and loyal friend.

Pip is good with children over 5 and is fine with dog-confident cats. She is very clever though and knows how to open hutches, so is not to be trusted with small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs!

Pip doesn’t like to be left alone and becomes quite upset and destructive, but she is OK if the TV is left on! She loves car journeys though and is not destructive in car, so she will be happy to go out with you whenever possible. She’s good on walks too and can be trusted off lead to return when called.

Pip is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Pip’s previous owner said that the vet has said that although Pip is a bit overweight with a little bit of arthritis, she is otherwise in good health.
