Belinda (Animal Helpline, Peterborough)
7/8/10 Belinda has found a new home!
————–
This beautiful, sweet-natured girl is Belinda, a lovely, long-haired German Shepherd of middle age. Animal Helpline are not sure of her age as she came into their care from the pound. They say Belinda is the sweetest GSD imaginable and they all would like to adopt her if only they could!
Although Belinda is an older lady, she is still quite strong on her lead. She is an easy-going girl who doesn’t ask for much – just a nice home with home comforts and a garden for her to potter about in. Belinda is a favorite at the rescue centre … she’s a real heartbreaker and the staff would just love to see her in her new home very soon.
As with most older German Shepherds, she is a bit stiff on her legs, but gentle exercise should help her tremendously. Belinda was taken to the Dogs Alive Show in Peterborough and she was very well behaved, didn’t mind people coming up to talk to her and having a fuss. It was so hot she was given a bath in the grooming van and just stood there enjoying the water with no problems. She also had a good brush which she loved.
Please don’t overlook this absolutely gorgeous lady. She has a great character and a wonderful nature.
