31/8/10 Porter is so happy to have found his new, forever home.

This handsome Staffordshire Bull Terrier is Porter who is currently safe in the care of Four Paws Animal Rescue in Cardiff, South Wales.  Porter, aged 7 years old, was in kennels for several weeks, having been rescued from the pound, and is now being cared for in an FPAR foster home.

Here are some of the lovely comments made about him …. his foster mum says “he is a little barrel of joy”.  Another walker said “he’s “a lovely boy and a superstar”.  He stayed with another fosterer for the weekend and they said “he really is a nice, placid, dog who loves company, is very affectionate and enjoys walks”.

Although he is no spring chicken, he keeps going at a steady pace and walks perfectly on a lead. He has been very well-behaved with the foster family’s dog and friendly to everyone else he has met. He will make a lovely companion for someone in a home without children. He has even been to a fun dog show and had a go at the agility course.

He loves his walks and is excellent with other dogs though sometimes he gets a little amorous! Porter has no known medical needs and has been neutered.

This lovely boy really deserves the chance of a forever home, so please contact Four Paws Animal Rescue’s website where you can read details of their adoption policy and download an application form. Alternatively, please contact them directly as follows:
