Read about Dorothy’s new home in her Success Story entry

Dorothy is approximately ten years old, she was found wandering as a stray in the Lancaster area. She waited out her seven days in the pound but no owner came looking for her, so she started her search for a new family and a new place to call home.

Despite the greying face Dorothy shows no other signs of her years. She is a fit and active dog who will readily run for hours and truly knows how to enjoy herself. This dog has so much love to give… but nobody wanted to give her the chance.

Northern Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue (NSBTR) and the Oldies Club both tried hard to promote Dorothy, but she just didn’t attract the offers. Dorothy was moved into a foster home, to give her the chance at a comfortable home life, and there she has really blossomed.

The Oldies Club are pleased to report that Dorothy will be staying with her foster family, who just couldn’t part with this characterful girl once they got to know and love her. Congratulations to lucky Dorothy and everyone in her forever home! :-)
