1/7/2012 Little old Jack has gone to his new home :)

—————

Regular visitors to this website may remember Old Jack, a lovely little Patterdale Terrier who is now fifteen years old. Old Jack originally came into the care of the Ark in 2010 when his owner was moving home and couldn’t take him along. After a feature on the Oldies Club website, the Ark were flooded with adoption enquiries for him and it wasn’t long before Jack had found himself a new home. Sadly, he’s back in rescue again and desperately needs a new home. He recently came into the Ark for boarding, but then his owner said he couldn’t keep Jack anymore because he was working away.

Understandably, Jack is feeling a bit bewildered and must be wondering why he’s been left behind yet again. He’s a lovely little dog who has never shown any aggression. He is quiet and very friendly and good with people of all ages. He gets on with other dogs and has previously lived with a cat.

Jack is house-trained and happy to be left home alone for up to 4 hours. He travels well and is good on and off the lead, but his recall isn’t so good now as he’s going a bit deaf. Jack is no longer interested in toys, all he wants is someone to look after him in his retirement and give him a comfy bed to curl up in.

Jack isn’t neutered, but he has been vaccinated. He has had some dental work and has a heart murmur, but isn’t on any treatment at present.

Please help Jack, he doesn’t deserve to be in kennels at his age. Please contact the Ark, ASAP, as follows:

Telephone: 01507 358140
Email: info@arkanimalrescue.co.uk

Please mention that you saw Jack on the Oldies Club website.
