Sparky (Animal Samaritans, Kent)

24/5/08 Sparky has found a new home!
——–
Sparky is a 10 year old, neutered Westie boy who is being rehomed by Animal Samaritans in Kent. Sparky is a little depressed at the moment because after sadly losing his owner he’s spent a few months living in the house on his own.
Sparky is a fantastic little boy who needs a little extra care; he’s diabetic and completely blind. He’s been blind for a long time, but copes very well and still enjoys his walks. Once he has his bearings he can get around and will happily navigate his way in and out of the garden when he needs a toilet break.
For his diabetes Sparky needs insulin injections twice a day, so his new owner will need to be confident enough to deal with this.
Sparky’s ideal retirement home would be in a quiet, un-cluttered environment, without children. He could live with cats and may also be homed with an older, calm dog for company.
