23/2/08 We’ve heard that Ben has found a great new home!

——

Ben is a 10 year old, neutered Collie Cross whose owner has sadly gone into hospital permanently, so can no longer care for him. Ben is now in the care of the RSPCA in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and he needs a new home urgently to get him out of kennels.

Ben isn’t very active, so he needs a quiet home environment perhaps with a retired person or couple. He has previously lived with another dog and enjoyed canine company, but any new doggy pals would need to be calm ones. Ben can also live with cats.

Ben is a very gentle and affectionate boy and would be happy living with children, provided that they are older and sensible and allow him some peace and quiet.

If you would like to enquire about Ben, please contact John Black (RSPCA rehoming officer) on tel: 07973 952575

Please mention that you saw Ben on the Oldies Club website.

Rescue’s Rehoming Policy:
All animals are health checked, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated before rehoming. We normally rehome in the North East, but dogs can travel for the right home providing prospective new owners can travel to Newcastle to meet the dog first.
