23/11/12 Charlie has found a new home at last!

——————–

Charlie is a gorgeous 7 year old Jack Russell Terrier who is looking for someone to play ball with him.  Friends of the Animals are looking for a loving forever home for him where he can get all the love and fun he deserves.

Charlie is used to children and  gets on well with other dogs but lively, vocal ones worry him a little so he’d prefer any dogs in his new home to be calm and fairly quiet. He loves being cuddled and his favourite game is playing ball so he’d need a new owner who would be happy to do both.

Last October little Charlie was diagnosed with diabetes. This is easily managed by twice daily injections of insulin which is supplied by veterinarians (who will also show you how to inject safely). This does not affect Charlie – he is full of fun and life and loves his walks. Charlie is neutered.

If you think that Charlie and his football would make a great addition to your household please contact Friends of the Animals by completing a pre-adoption form via their website. You will then be contacted by one the rescue’s adoption co-ordinators.

Please mention that you saw him on the Oldies Club website.

Rescue’s rehoming policy:
Friends of the Animals are a small rescue based in South Wales, but they re-home across the UK. All potential new owners must be home-checked before adoption. A set donation fee of £150 is usually requested to cover just some of the vet fees, but is waived in this case and a small contribution requested instead. Friends of the Animals neuter, vaccinate, worm, de-flea and microchip all their dogs.
