15/10/12 Henry has found a new home!

If ever there was a dog who knew how to do gorgeous…it’s Henry! This adorable boy is an 8 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is seeking a loving new home with the help of Pro Dogs Direct.

Henry is a real sweetie who is great with other dogs, loves people and cuddles and has good recall. He only wants to please you and is happy to just lie down beside you with his head on your lap. He will need a little help getting there, however, as his back legs are a little stiff and he needs to be lifted up on the sofa.

Henry can live with confident cats and dogs who won’t bounce on him. He would prefer a home where any children are older as he does have some arthritis which means being accidentally pulled about or jumped on will cause him pain.

Henry is currently on a diet and will need medication for life due to a heart murmur and his arthritis, both common ailments for a slightly older Cavvy, although it doesn’t stop him living life to the full!

Henry is generally a quiet lad unless he hears the doorbell or another dog barking. Then he likes to answer with a small amount of polite woofing!

Happily crate trained, good on the lead and a great lover of food, Henry is a joy to have around, especially if you are home during the day to give him lots of cuddles! Although he can be left for a reasonable period, he loves human attention and would like a home where he can get all the love and fuss he deserves. He would make a terrific companion to an active retired person or couple.
