11/12/12 Max has found a new home

This is Maximus, or Max to his friends – which is everyone he meets! This gorgeous boy is 11 years old and he’s a neutered, brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Max is being cared for by Ostara Dog Rescue in Southend, Essex and currently being fostered in South Wales where he lives with eight other dogs. His foster carer says she thinks he would be happier in a quieter household, with just one or two other dogs (or none – he’d be more than happy to have his people all to himself!).

Max is brilliant with children, but more comfortable around older children, so preferably living in a home where children are aged 10+. He cannot live with cats. Max does have some arthritis which is being controlled with Metacam, and it doesn’t seem to give him too many problems.
