23/8/12 Lovely Livi has found a new home.

——————–

Olivia, or Livi as she is known, is a small eight year old Greyhound girl who came into the care of Northern Greyhound Rescue from the pound. Livi was a stray and had sadly been in the pound for two months. Not a lot is known of her background, but she was lightly raced as a youngster.

Livi is a real sweetheart; she adores cuddles and is a quiet, gentle girl. She is currently living with two more Greyhounds (one male and one female) and five whippets and there have been no problems. Livi would be happy with other dogs or as an only dog where she could get the love she deserves.

Livi loves her walks and soon comes to life when her lead appears. She’s very easy on the lead and she also loves to travel in the car. She initially had one or two accidents in the house, but provided she is regularly let outside she is a clean girl in the home.

Although Livi arrived in rescue with a heavy outdoor coat, she isn’t at all phased by household noises and it’s likely that she has been in a home at some point in her life. Her coat is now looking much better and starting to shine, so she looks like a girl who is loved and cared for. All she needs now is her own forever home and someone to love.

Livi has recently been spayed and is microchipped, vaccinated and flea and worm treated. She can be homed both locally or nationally, dependent upon a successful homecheck.
