2/8/12 Handsome Ned has found a new home!

Ned is a 12 year old medium-sized, brindle and white mongrel boy who is being rehomed by Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Ned is being fostered by one of Battersea’s staff. Ned goes to work with her and spends the day in a kennel at the Home, and then goes to his foster home for evenings and days off.

This handsome boy is full of love and he uses his big puppy-dog eyes on everyone he meets! He has excellent manners and a calm nature and has proved himself to be the perfect house guest in his foster home. Ned can be rehomed to live with children aged 10+.

Ned would really benefit from living with other dogs in his forever home and could possibly live with a cat. He is currently living with a 2 year old female dog and he absolutely adores her! They share everything, including his beloved tennis balls. They also love to play tug with each other and, being the perfect gentleman, Ned always lets his foster sister win!

Ned is fully house-trained and has been left for 3 hours with the resident dog. He is calm around the house and loves to sleep.

Ned is living proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks, as he recently learnt to ‘roll over’ in a record time of 5 minutes! He also gives a great ‘paw’ and knows ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘drop’ and ‘bed’. He loves his toys, and will give you a run for your money chasing after tennis balls!

This loving lad has unfortunately found himself in need of a forever home at a late stage in his life. He is such a loyal, gentle soul who just wants to be loved. He will bring so much joy to his new home.
