Oscar (Brookfield Farm Kennels, Derby)

3/11/12 Oscar’s found a new home!

———————-

Oscar is an elderly Staffordshire Bull Terrier and he’s lucky to be alive. He was found wandering up the middle of the busy A52 Derby to Ashbourne Road, and cars travelling at 50mph were trying dodge him. He was eventually caught and bundled into a van and is now in the care of Brookfield Farm Kennels in Derby.

When Oscar arrived at the kennels he was very confused and hot and bothered, but he has quickly settled down and is proving to be a true old gent. An out of date ID chip gave the kennels his date of chipping as March 2002, so he is at least 10 and a half years old.

Oscar is spotlessly clean in his kennel and despite his advancing years he is still reasonably active. He’s fine with other dogs and will make a lovely quiet companion for someone. He just wants to sleep at your feet or wander by your side out on gentle walks.

If you’d like to enquire about Oscar, please contact Liz at Brookfield Kennels as follows;

Please mention that you saw Oscar on the Oldies Club website.
