Coco (Lancashire Heeler Community Welfare Fund, Norfolk)
24/9/12 Coco has gone to a new home!
—————
This is Coco and he is a 10 year old Lancashire Heeler boy who is seeking a loving new retirement home with the help of Lancashire Heeler Community Welfare Fund.
Coco is very good with other dogs and has lived with a spayed bitch. He’s also good with castrated males at the kennels. He could live either with or without other dogs as he is a very sociable old chap. He is fine with children, but it’s not known how he reacts to cats. Coco would like a quiet retirement home where he can mooch around, but is still quite active and enjoys walks.
Coco needs space to do his own thing but will make a great companion for someone who is around most of the time. He’s unsure abut being picked up, but will jump into a vehicle without any problems. He has been a bit noisy when left in kennels, but he is fine when out and about.
Coco is good off the lead in a safe area, coming straight back when called. He enjoys being brushed, especially as he is moulting at present. He is now looking for a home, possibly with another dog or dogs, and where he can be given space and time to settle in.
Coco has no medical problems known, is neutered and is quite healthy. Heelers can live till their late teens.
