12/9/12 After being spotted on the Oldies Club website, Starr has found a new home.

—————————-

ARC (Animal Rescue Charity) are delighted to introduce Starr who is just that; a true gent in every way. Starr is a seven year old German Shepherd X Labrador who came into rescue through sad circumstances. He hasn’t enjoyed the best of times lately, so needs a good helping of TLC and some encouragement.

Starr is still active and spritely for his age and the rescue describe him as a wonderful older lad who shows lots of affection to all those he meets. Starr enjoys the company of other dogs and isn’t bothered in the slightest when junior models bound up to him; he just stands by, tail wagging, until the youngsters have had their fun.

Starr is clean and not destructive in his kennel and the support he has already had from the rescue so far has helped him blossom into a calm, well balanced and excellently behaved fellow. He is good to walk and trots happily beside you, sniffing constantly and always interested in his sourroundings.

Starr loves company so the rescue are looking for a home where he won’t be left for long periods of time. He needs some fuss and attention and an understanding home where he can spend the rest of his years in comfort.

Starr is vaccinated and ready for the next chapter of his life. Could you share that with him?
