21/9/12 Gorgeous Specksy has found a new home!

—————-

Specksy, aptly named due to the circles of white hair around his eyes, is a male crossbreed aged about 10 years old. Rescued from an Irish pound, he is in the care of Heathlands Animal Sanctuary  and is currently in a foster home.

Specksy is a quiet chap who loves people and other dogs, and particularly enjoys having a fuss made of him.     It is not known how he gets on with cats.    Although he is a mature chap, he is still quite energetic.    He is good on a lead and is always keen to go for a walk.    He will then come home and have a long snooze in his bed!

Being an older dog, Specksy is a little hard of hearing and slightly short sighted but that doesn’t stop him living life to the full.     He’s is looking for a quiet retirement home and would make a wonderful companion dog.    Who can resist that handsome face?

If you are interested in Specksy, please contact Heathlands Animal Sanctuary as follo9ws:

Tel:  01763 244488 between 10 am and 3 pm and leave your details.

Please mention that you saw him on the Oldies Club website.
