Buddy (Halfway Home Dog Rescue, Notts)

posted in Rehomed Dogs |

8/10/12 We’ve heard this great news from Halfway Home: “please can you move Buddy to the rehomed section – the lovely lad had loads of enquiries thanks to your website, and he’s gone to his new home today“.

———–

This handsome lad is Buddy and he is a Pointer cross of around 8 years old. He arrived in rescue with Halfway Home Dog Rescue, after his owners moved out, leaving Buddy and his two brothers behind to fend for themselves. What Buddy needs now is a secure, warm home where he can feel loved again.

Buddy is a gentle, calm and placid lad who is now living in a foster home. He has been introduced him to the cats there and did not react at all, so he should be able to share his home with cats. He loves his armchair and is happy to go for a walk or potter around the garden. He is happy to accommodate his new owners on going for walks or just pottering – what he really wants is just to be with you.

Buddy would like to be part of a family and can live with older, sensible children. Being an older lad, he would prefer not to be pushed and prodded by little ones though!

Buddy with a friend

Buddy is sharing his foster home with two other dogs and gets along with them fine. He is housetrained and well behaved in the house. He can be left for a reasonable amount of time.

Buddy is happy to spend his day snoozing and does not stress when he is left. He travels well in the car, is easy to walk both on and off the lead.

Can you offer this lovely gentleman a place to call home for his twilight years? If so, please contact Halfway Home Dog Rescue as follows:

Please mention that you saw Buddy on the Oldies Club website.
