26/10/2012 Beautiful Elsie is a very happy girl as she went off to her new home today (locally).

Elsie is a real heart-breaker … abandoned and left to fend for herself. It’s hard to believe that this could happen to such a lovely lady. Elsie is a beautiful 10+ year old Border Collie who is happily now in safe hands and being rehomed by West Norfolk RSPCA.

Elsie is bewildered by yet more new surroundings and yet more new faces (having been in the holding kennels for a week already), but she is very friendly and enjoys having lovely kisses and cuddles. She is a gentle, calm girl and really should not be in kennels. She should be living in luxury in a loving home with nothing to worry about at all.

Elsie would like a nice, calm peaceful home where she can potter about with someone during the day and have a nice little walk or two, and then go back home to lay on a lovely squashy bed, or sofa, for a snooze.

Elsie can very possibly live with other dogs as she seems fine with them but would prefer no very young, bouncy dogs though. She could also live with older, sensible children who can respect an older dog’s needs, and it’s possible she would be okay with cats, though she hasn’t been tested.

Elsie won’t ask for much at all, she just wants to be loved and to be treated with kindness for the rest of her life….
