Jasper (Rovers Dog Rescue, fostered Essex)

posted in Rehomed Dogs |

12/11/12 Adorable little Jasper has found a new home!

Jasper is an adorable 8 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel boy whose owner has died. He is in the care of a small, home-based rescue named Rovers Dog Rescue and is in a foster home in Chelmsford, Essex. Jasper can only be rehomed to within 30 miles of Essex, so that his fosterer can travel to do the homecheck.

Jasper used to live in a quiet home with an older owner, but he’s adapted well to his change of circumstances and he’s loving going out for fun walks and is acting like a 3 year old!

Jasper is a lovely little lad and, although living with children is a new experience for him, he is getting on very well his fosterer’s 10 year old son. It wouldn’t be fair to expect Jasper to live with very young children though as he isn’t used to them.

Although Jasper is good with dogs, he is used to being an only dog and getting all the attention, so he would probably prefer being an adored only dog in his new home. Jasper isn’t used to living with cats.

Jasper loves a cuddle on the sofa but he is happy to sleep in his bed downstairs all night. He is clean in the house.

Jasper will be neutered and microchipped before he is rehomed. His teeth are in poor condition and he is booked in to have a dental – it is anticipated that he will need most of his teeth out. He has a heart murmur.

If you would like to find out more about Jasper and are within 30 miles of Chelmsford, please contact Rebecca of Rovers Dog Rescue as follows:
