17/5/13 Kellah’s found a home!

—————

This very pretty lady is Kellah and she is an 8 year old Staffy cross who arrived in rescue with Hula Animal Rescue after her owner sadly passed away. Kellah is hoping to start her life over again and form another close and loving bond with a new family. This lovely girl is just desperate to share her love in a new home. Kellah may have some sighthound in her as she is quite petite and wiry.

Kellah can live with children over the age of 12 years. She has spent time with younger children in the past and been very good, but she is not used to living in the hustle and bustle of a younger family full time.

Kellah is a very playful dog who loves toys, especially if they squeak! She is also food motivated and likes to show off her trick of begging with her paws in the air if you have something really tasty for her!

Kellah would prefer to be the only dog in her new household, as she has always been a single dog. She can be picky about what dogs she socialises with and will bark at some dogs when out on lead. Care will have to be taken when mixing her with other dogs out on walks. She cannot be rehomed with cats or small animals.

Kellah is not used to being left for long periods and would not be suitable for a full time worker even with a break in the middle of the day. She would like a new home where there is someone around a lot of the time where she can be left for gradually longer periods once she settles in.

Are you the one who Kellah is looking for? If so, please contact Hula Animal Rescue as follows:
