Chocky Boy (Labrador Rescue, North West)

13.1.13  Chocky’s sad story has a really happy ending.  Someone fell in love with him and offered him a loving forever home.  Have a lovely life in your new place, Chocky!

This lovely lad has a very sad story to tell.    He was taken to the pound after being  found abandoned on a railway station platform in Bradford.   Probably the only way he got there was if he was taken there and dumped or thrown off a train.    All attempts to find his owner were fruitless and, as he had served his seven days in the pound he was due to be put to sleep.   Fortunately Labrador Rescue North West  found out about him and came to his rescue so he’s now in their care and they are hoping to find him a new home.

He’s around 7 years old, a strong but very friendly chap who loves to have his tummy rubbed.   He is currently being assessed with other dogs – more information about him will be added as soon as possible.

However, in the meantime, if you are interested in knowing more about this lovely chocolate labrador, please complete the Labrador Rescue North West application form in order to be approved to adopt, then call one of the Rehoming volunteers as follows:

Glenys: 01257 452500 11 am to 7 pm

Please mention that you saw him on the Oldies Club website.
