Spitz (Animal Rescue Cymru, West Wales)
Poor Spitz is feeling sad and bewildered to find himself in rescue. He just wants to feel safe and loved again. Spitz is a 9-10 year old German Shepherd cross boy who is looking for a new retirement home with the help of Animal Rescue Cymru.
Spitz is still a fit and active dog despite his age and is rather smallish for a German Shepherd. He is good with children and other dogs, although he prefers the girls! He would be happy to share his home with a female canine companion.
Right now Spitz is very confused and worried and really needs a home where he can feel secure in his twilight years, with lots of love to help him forget his past.
Below is a lovely video of Spitz enjoying himself on the beach.
