Sandy (Greyhound Awareness League, fostered Glasgow)

Sandy is a nine year old Greyhound who is in the care of GAL (Greyhound Awareness League) in Glasgow. Despite being a healthy and friendly boy, poor Sandy had been taken to the vets to be put to sleep, but luckily the vet refused to do it and contacted GAL for help.

Sandy is used to living in a home environment and is currently in a foster home with two other male sighthounds. He has been great with all other dogs he’s met, and is very good with children too so would be suitable for a family household. He needs a home without cats.

Sandy loves to be petted and he travels well in the car. He doesn’t need loads of exercise, but would enjoy a minimum of two twenty minute walks every day. He’s a really easy, happy, and healthy lad and his fosterers say “Sandy has so much love to give, his heart is bursting with affection”.

Sandy is neutered and he has no medical needs.

If you’d like to offer him the loving permenant home he deserves, please contact GAL as follows;

Tel: 0870 888 7277
Or complete an Online Application form via their website.

Please mention that you saw Sandy on the Oldies Club website.
