Col (Greyhound Awareness League, fostered Glasgow)

15/4/13 Col is staying with his fosterer, so has found his forever home!

This handsome boy is Col and he’s an eight year old Greyhound who is currently in a GAL (Greyhound Awareness League) foster home in Glasgow. Col came into the rescue’s care due to a change in his previous owners circumstances so now he needs to find a new home.

Col previously lived as an only dog, but shares his foster home with two male crossbreeds, who he has no interest in. He settled in quickly and sleeps downstairs on his bed. He travels well in the car, walks nicely on the lead and is always up for a walk. He currently has one long walk and one short one every day, but being a greyhound he’s also naturally lazy and spends the time in between snoozing on his bed.

Col is very placid and is fine with children, but hasn’t lived with them before. His fosterers say he is a delight to have around and is very gentle and laid back. He loves having his chest rubbed and has a penchant for Smacko’s!

Col would like a home without cats, but would be fine living with other dogs. He is neutered and has no medical problems.

If you’d like to apply to adopt him, please get in touch with GAL as follows;

Tel: 0870 888 7277
Or complete an Online Application form via their website.

Please mention that you saw Col on the Oldies Club website.
