Jasper (Wild Acre Rescue, West Midlands)

10/3/13 Jasper has found a home!

Jasper is a very handsome gentleman aged 8 years. He’s a mainly black Retriever/Collie cross and is in the care of Wild Acre Rescue in Cradley Heath, West Midlands.

Jasper is a very gentle boy with a lovely temperament. He is good with children, good with cats, fully house-trained and loves people.

Jasper is a clever lad – he knows so many commands: sit, paw, lie down, roll over, and he walks well on a lead. He does pull when he meets other dogs and barks at them, but it is only because he wants to meet and play. There doesn’t seem to be any aggression.

Jasper’s previous owner said he was fine with other dogs, as long as he had a slow introduction and they didn’t rush at him. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home though.

Jasper is such a lovely boy. He loves a lot of fuss and will make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a gentle dog around the house. He has no known medical needs and has been neutered.
