Sweet Tamsin is a medium-sized Crossbreed, possibly a Collie x Terrier, who is about 8 years old. She is in the care of Ashbourne Animal Welfare in Derbyshire.
Tamsin is fit, healthy and active – she enjoys long walks and plenty of games of football. She has a reasonable level of basic training and is an intelligent girl, always trying to please. Tamsin can be quite sensitive and is very worried by loud noises, such as gunshot or thunder, so she would need an understanding owner. She would be suited to life in a quieter yet active household, with someone who has a reasonable level of dog-handling experience.
Tamsin would happily live with older, sensible children, but she would have to be the only pet in the household. Although her behaviour around other dogs is better than it used to be, there is still room for improvement sometimes (and plenty of room for improvement around cats and other small furries!). Tamsin will now walk quietly with some quiet, unreactive dogs but she does still get worried by other dogs getting too close to her so, for this reason, she would be suited to be the only dog in the house.
Tamsin has no medical needs and has been spayed. She has been in kennels now for 18 months and she deserves to find her forever home. Could you give her a special home?
