Oscar (Dunroamin K9 Rescue, fostered Nottinghamshire)

3/6/13 Our Old Dog of the Week feature worked for Oscar and he’s now happily settled in a new home. Yay!

——————–

Please meet Oscar! This gorgeous Collie cross has been looking for a new home for far too long now and although he is happily living in a foster home through Dunroamin K9 Rescue, he would love to find a home and family of his very own. Oscar is around 8 years old and is a really soppy, loving boy who is going to make his new owners very happy.

How can you resist my cute freckled little legs?

Oscar is still quite active for his age and has plenty of energy. His favourite thing is going out for a walk where he can play fetch with his ball. He also loves his squeaky toys, although they usually don’t squeak for long once he has got hold of them! He also loves running about in the garden.

Won’t you have a tug – it’s lots of fun?

Oscar loves people, particularly men and children. He just loves getting a nice cuddle from his foster dad. He is very good with children and can be homed with them, although it would be best that any future child companions are used to being around dogs. He is calm and settled in the house, non-destructive and housetrained, always on his good behaviour.

Although he is currently the only dog in his home, Oscar has lived with other dogs in the past and got on well with them, so long as they accepted his ‘top dog’ status.

Oscar would happily spend all day with his head on your knee having a tickle. He is a great guard dog, but makes friends instantly with visitors when they come through the door! He just loves having attention.

Oscar would love to be part of an active family who can give him lots of attention and cuddles. He has been waiting for his perfect family to come along for too long now and really hopes that if you are reading this and have the right home for him that you will find out more about him and bring him home.

Can I come home with you …. pretty please?

Oscar is in good health, is neutered and fully vaccinated.
