26/6/13 Little blind Dennis has found a lovely new home after being spotted on the Oldies Club website!

Dennis is an 11 year old black and tan Lancashire Heeler who is being rehomed via Lancashire Heeler Community Welfare Fund. He is currently in Northampton.

Dennis would like a quiet home. He gets on OK with other dogs but would prefer to be on his own, ideally with a female owner who is at home most of the time. Dennis is happy to live with cats. He isn’t used to living with children.

Sadly, due to a condition called Lens Luxation, Dennis is blind, and had his eyes removed several years ago. He copes well with being blind and finds his way around well, however his current owner’s increasingly irregular routine distresses him and affects his co-ordination skills.

He is still an active lad who loves his walks and is happy on an extending lead, for his safety.
