Zac (Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue)

posted in Rehomed Dogs |

3/11/13 Zac found a new home within his family.

Zac is a friendly 9 year old black and tan Labrador Cross who is sadly looking for a forever home because of a marital split. He is being rehomed by Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue, and they prefer to rehome within the Yorkshire area.

Zac will make a loving and loyal family pet. He has been around young children and is friendly towards everyone he meets. He is good with dogs – has lived with a Labrador – and is used to living with rabbits. It isn’t known how he is with cats. He doesn’t appear to be bothered when around livestock on his lead.

Housetrained and obedient, Zac knows basic commands – sit, stay, and give paw – and will wait for his food until he is told to go and get it. His party trick is to gather objects and take them into his bed. He doesn’t chew or destroy them, but he enjoys being a collector!

He travels well in the car. He pulls slightly on the lead at first but soon settles down and enjoys his walk.

Zac is neutered, vaccinated and will be microchipped before rehoming.

If you are within the Yorkshire area (preferably) and are interested in offering Zac a home, please complete Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue’s online Adoption Form.
