As you can see from his photos, Tommy is an exceptionally handsome lad, who is currently being cared for by Castledon Greyhound Rescue, in Essex.

Tommy is an ex-racing greyhound, who is approaching 9 years of age. He has had a rough time of late, having given his all and living in a racing kennel, he was retired from racing 5 years ago and then neglected, receiving no exercise at all. Poor boy! The staff at Castledon have slowly built up his muscle tone with gentle exercise, giving him light short walks, as he was not used to walking at all.

Tommy is a very loving, affectionate and gentle dog, and he is simply adores all the fuss that he has missed out on for most of his life. He is clean in his kennel and travels well in the car. He has been neutered and has had a much needed dental.

Tommy is no good with cats, so will need a cat free home, but he may be able to live with other dogs. He is fine with medium to large ones, but he has yet to meet any smaller ones.

This lovely boy is desperate for a nice home, where he can appreciate the love and affection he has missed out on so far. He has wasted so much of his life in kennels and given so much, only to be left to his own devices late in his life.

Can you offer Tommy the home comforts he really deserves? If so please contact Castledon Greyhound Rescue on:

Please mention that you saw Tommy on the Oldies Club website.
