25/7/13 Beanie and Freda have found a lovely new home together!
Beanie and Freda are gorgeous Miniature Schnauzer girls, aged 9 and 7 respectively. Their original owner has sadly died and so Beanie and Freda need to find a new permanent home. They are being rehomed privately by their current carer and are in Tonbridge, Kent.
Beanie and Freda need to stay together – they have lost their Dad and these lovely ladies really need each other. They are fine with other dogs and are currently living with 5 resident dogs. They have stayed with cats previously too and it’s thought there were no problems.
Beanie and Freda’s owner was a retired gentleman and so they would be best in a quieter home. They should be OK with children over 12 years of age though.
The girls are well-behaved and can be left for a few hours with no problem. They are playful but do not need long walks; they both walk nicely on lead. Both girls like a trip out in the car and are well behaved.
They are playful dogs and love playing with stuffed toys, but most of all they just love to snuggle on your lap. Beanie especially would love to be by your side all day.
Freda doesn’t like the Hoover and Beanie isn’t keen on heavy traffic when she’s out walking.
Both girls are neutered and microchipped. Freda has arthritis in a rear leg, due to an old injury, for which she has supplements and anti-inflamatories when needed. She was x-rayed at the vet a couple of week ago to have this checked and the vet has advised short lead walks only for Freda. Beanie is not on any medication.
Both girls were very overweight but they have gradually been losing the excess kilos. They are both very well behaved when being groomed, which, being a non-moulting breed, needs to be done on a regular basis.
Can you help these lovely Schnauzer ladies?
