Max having a little tickle

30/9/13 Max has found a new home!
—————

Poor old Max is a lovely, affectionate mixed breed lad, who is currently in the care of Babworth Animal Rescue Kennels in the East Midlands.

This gorgeous boy is blind and he has been living on the streets, surviving against all the odds. He is around 8 years old and has been neutered.

Max is an incredibly sweet boy, who wags his tail as soon as he hears someone approaching his  kennel. He adores human contact, and cries for a short while when you stop making a fuss of him. He loves his walks and will walk right next to your leg for security.

Max needs a home that isn’t too busy, so that he can find his way around and learn to feel safe. He has never had anywhere to call his own before, and consequently, he isn’t properly house trained, using the bed in his kennel as a toilet and then sleeping on the hard stone floor! However, with time, patience and a little training, this could be overcome, and Max will then make the best possible companion. He gives so much joy and affection that he really deserves a wonderful home for the rest of his life.

Max is currently sharing his kennel with Fetita, and he seems to love the company, so he should be fine with other dogs. He is also good with cats and can live with children.

If you can offer this super blind boy the home he so deserves, please contact Babworth Animal Rescue Kennels on:

01777 708707 or visit between 11.30 am and 3pm

Please mention that you saw Max on the Oldies Club website.
