Posh is a pretty little Patterdale Cross who would like an active owner. She loves long walks and playing games of fetch. She could live with children but would prefer to be an only dog. She’s OK with dogs out and about though. Can you resist this Posh lady?

Max is a gorgeous and clever boy who loves playing with toys and going for walks. He is an affectionate lad who is happy to lie down at your feet for a nice cuddle. Max may be able to share his home with another dog and can live with older, calm children. Is he the dog for you?

Who could resist those little white toes and those pointy ears! Jones is a very friendly lad who loves nothing better than a cuddle on your lap. It’s such a shame that he’s stuck in kennels. He’s fine with dogs and could live with a female dog. And he’s gentle so should be fine with kind children too. Please can Jones come to live with you?

Smurf is doing his best ‘Skippy’ impression, for those of us that are old enough to remember! Smurf is a quiet, unassuming gentleman who is loving the comforts of his foster home after a less than ideal life. Smurf’s very easy to care for, and he’s good with dogs and older children. Why is this gorgeous old lad still waiting for a home?

10 year old Lady is a smallish German Shepherd who is looking for a home, maybe with older children who will play fetch with her. She’s a very bright girl and would love a place where she can learn new games and get some extra training. She could probably live with another dog but no cats please.

Grady the gorgeous Greyhound needs to find a home without carpets, as he seems to be having an allergic reaction to the carpets in his current home. Grady can live with dogs and children and he’s a well-behaved, loving lad. If you have hard floors and a soft heart, perhaps you could help Grady?

Ozzy is a big softie who just wants to be with you and possibly sit on your feet! He loves cuddles and is quite a clever boy who is very eager to please. He is just getting used to going out for walks again and enjoying it very much. Ozzy can live with older children and possibly another dog. He is just looking for the right person to love.

1/5/2013 Good news that little Nina has gone to a permanent foster home.

Poor Cassie doesn’t seem to have had much of a life so far and it’s thought she has been used for breeding. Despite this, Cassie is a very loving, cuddly girl once she gets to know you. She is fine with children and could possibly share a home with a male Staffy – she has a male Staffy friend at Moorlands. She can be cat-tested if necessary. Could you offer Cassie the loving home she’s waited for so long?

Due to her owner’s ill health, Tara hadn’t been walked for 5 years, but oh how she’s enjoying walks now! Tara is active, intelligent, obedient and loving. She could live with a dog-savvy cat and is fine with dogs she meets. She also likes children. What a gorgeous girl!
