Darwin is a delight. A collie-sized German Shepherd lookalike from Romania, he has settled into home life so well. He is good with children and dogs, walks well on the lead and is clean in the house. What a star!

Coco (Wythall Animal Rescue, Birmingham)

Coco travelled all the way from Canada with her owner but now needs a new home. She’s a little nervous so would like a quiet, adult home where she can enjoy playing with her toys. She can live with cats or a calm dog and she loves to swim!

Tyson (RSPCA West Hatch, Somerset)

If you have a collie-shaped hole in your life that needs filling, say hello to Tyson. He has got the whole quirky collie thing going on! He is a fabulous old boy who still has plenty of life in him and he would love to share it with you.

Cookie (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Cookie will make a fantastic friend, but he doesn’t like his paws or back end to be touched so must have a home without children. He is fine with dogs except for unneutered males that are the same size as him. He’s very good in the home. And gorgeous!

Lassie (Foal Farm Animal Rescue, Kent)

Ten year old Lassie has lived her life in a shed, so she’s looking for a kind, patient person who will help her adjust to home life. Lassie is a sweet girl and she deserves to spend her retirement enjoying some home comforts.

Tyson (Carla Lane Animals In Need, Liverpool)

Tyson is a gorgeous, soppy, happy Staffy cross. He can live with children from age 10. He’s good with younger ones but finds they accidentally get knocked over a lot! For the same reason, he can’t live with other dogs. There’s a lot of Tyson to love and he will return that love… emphatically!

Mary (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

There’s something about Mary…everyone who meets her loves her and she loves them! She’s placid, tactile, good with other dogs and children. Mary is a warm-hearted lady who always has a smile!

Rebecca (All Animals Rescue and Rehome, fostered Essex)

A lovable snuggle bug … that’s how Rebecca is described! This gentle natured lady plays mother hen to the other dogs in her foster home, and all she wants to do is cuddle up with you or plod around in the garden. Could you give easy-going Rebecca the home she deserves?

Struppy (Safe Rescue, fostered Bedfordshire)

Struppy had a long journey to the UK only to find that ‘his’ rescue hadn’t turned up to meet him, and they couldn’t be contacted. Luckily, Safe Rescue came to his aid, and he is proving to be a dream. Good with people, dogs and cats, what’s not to love about Struppy?!

Lexi (RSPCA Westmorland, Cumbria)

Lexi is quite a timid little girl, but she has an affectionate, fun-loving personality just waiting to blossom! In a calm, adult-only home where she can settle at her own pace, Lexi will make a wonderful companion. Isn’t she adorable!?

Windsor (Romanian Rescue Appeal, fostered Somerset)

Does anyone have a quiet home where this lovely boy can settle at his own pace? His name’s Windsor and he’s had a tough time in a Romanian public shelter. Windsor is a sweet little soul who will benefit from the company of another calm, confident dog to show him the way.

Mr. Jingles (Leicester Animal Aid)

Big, beautiful but a cuddly gentle giant, Mr. Jingles is a friendly Bull Mastiff Cross. He loves to travel and enjoys light exercise and pottering in the garden. Mr. Jingles would be a true friend and loyal companion in a pet-free home where any children are older teenagers.

Arta (originally Arthur) is so fluffy, it took very close inspection to discover she’s actually a she! She’s friendly and can live with male dogs. She loves being outdoors, always taking her time to sniff everything, from all angles. She likes a cuddle and will need a lot of brushing!

Bright as a button Bling has the looks of a Lab combined with the super brain of a Collie! He’s a very special boy who wants to be the only pet in an active home, where he can pursue his life’s work – tennis ball wrangling!

Lucy (Starfish Dog Rescue, fostered Gloucestershire)

Jemima is a sturdy little Whippet X who is blind. But she isn’t ready to hang up her running shoes, and needs active owners with quiet places to walk as she’s terrified of off-lead dogs. Jemima needs to be an only dog and have a nice big garden. Could you help?
