22/5/13 Alfie and Molly have found a home!

This gorgeous pair of Springers have sadly come into rescue as victims of the credit crunch and their owner having to move into rented accommodation. They are Molly, aged 12, and Alfie (who will turn 12 in May). These two lovelies are currently being cared for by South Yorkshire English Springer Spaniel Rescue.

Molly is the black and white girl and Alfie is the liver and white boy. Although they are not from the same litter, they have been together since they were puppies and would really like to find a new home where they can stay together. Both dogs are good natured, get along with children of all ages and get along with other dogs.

Both Molly and Alfie are well behaved dogs who are used to being left and are good both on and off lead, although their hearing and eyesight isn’t what is used to be. They are both still quite lively for their age, especially Molly, and still like to play and have fun.

Molly is spayed and Alfie needs to be neutered as soon as possible and it would be much better to do this when he is settled into a loving home.

Because of their age they are on SYESSR’s long term-foster scheme where, although the home will be a permanent one they will be able to provide assistance with veterinary bills.

These two beauties are looking for someone with a big heart who can give them a lovely warm fireside to curl up next to for the rest of their days. Can you offer them the loving home and a comfortable retirement?
