These soulful eyes belong to Campbell and he sadly came to the RSPCA Essex South West rescue kennels in Waltham Abbey as a stray.

Campbell is a male Jack Russell Terrier approximately 8 years old. He is a gentle little dog, nice and friendly and already has some good training in place. He walks well on a harness and does a nice sit. He enjoys playing with toys and is very gentle when accepting a treat.

Campbell still has his lively moments and likes a good run off-lead – don’t let his age put you off, he is middle-aged and not at all elderly! He is okay when travelling in a car but gets very anxious in a crate, so would not do well in a crate at home.

As little is known of Campbell’s history and he is still being assessed, it is not yet known whether he is okay with other dogs or cats. He is settling down in kennels and the staff are starting to see his true personality emerging. He has no medical needs and has been neutered.

Please watch short videos of him here and here.

Campbell is a really nice boy who is looking for a loving home and family where he will get all the attention and love he deserves.
