17/2/13 Gorgeous Fudge has found a new home in Oxfordshire!
Fudge is an 11 year old Yorkshire Terrier who was rescued by his current owner just before Christmas. He had been tied to a radiator and was underweight and scared. Fudge is being rehomed privately by his current owner: she would have liked to have kept Fudge, but one of her other dogs isn’t keen on Fudge being around.
Fudge is a sweet dog and is friendly, loving and playful. He enjoys going for walks and then coming home to cuddle his teddy. He has recently been groomed and he really enjoyed it.
Fudge doesn’t mind living with cats or small/medium-sized dogs, but he is scared of big dogs and dogs that bark at him. He is fine with his current owner’s older children and visiting younger children. He is fine to be left alone for a few hours, although he does enjoy having company. He is good in the car. Fudge enjoys walks and is active for his age but he also enjoys being out in the garden.
Fudge loves playing with his toys and is particularly devoted to his teddy. He also adores being cuddled. He’d be perfect for a fairly active older person or couple.
His current owner has stated that Fudge has been checked over by her vet and that he has no current health problems and doesn’t need any medication at present.
Fudge is being rehomed privately by his current owner, Mandy. If you would like to offer Fudge a new home, please contact Mandy as follows:
Please mention that you saw Fudge on the Oldies Club website.
Prospective adopters will be homechecked and Mandy has confirmed that she will take Fudge back if the new home doesn’t work out for any reason.
Oldies Club suggests you read our article Questions for Adopters which is written to help people who are planning to adopt a dog from a private owner rather than a rescue.
