Jack (Friends of the Animals RCT, fostered South Wales)

24/7/13 Lovely little Jack has found his new home!

Jack is a lovely older (8+) Jack Russell Terrier. He came to Friends of the Animals RCT from a family that had taken Jack in from a family member who had moved into residential care. But the new family had young children and Jack is too old for a noisy young household.

Jack only has three legs. The rescue isn’t sure when he had one of his back legs removed, but he copes very well for a chap his age, and he still loves his walks. He walks well on the lead, and is happy with one walk a day.

He is fine to be left in his crate or bed for a couple of hours. He is currently very clingy to his foster mum, but this should pass when he is settled.

He is fine living with another calm old dog. He has no issues with sharing food but has not yet played with toys. He loves to be stroked, touched and having lots of lap cuddles.

Jack is looking for a home where he can be your companion – he loves one to one attention and would love someone to potter around with through the day.

Jack is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet Jack in his foster home in South Wales.
