Lucky (Stray Dogs Sanctuary, South Devon)

29/3/13 – Lucky has found a wonderful new home!

Update 7/3/13 – Lucky is now in a foster home where he is much more comfortable, but he is still looking for a permanent home of his own.

Lucky isn’t feeling so lucky at the moment. He has found himself in rescue with Stray Dogs Sanctuary after his former owners decided to move home and to keep him under the stairs of their new home. Thankfully another family member pointed out that this wasn’t a good solution for Lucky and that he should find more suitable home with caring people. Poor Lucky was also spending lots of time on his own tied up in the garden in his former home. So this sweet lad really needs a chance to start anew in a loving home where he will get the attention and care he deserves.

Lucky is 12 year old Whippet boy who is a good all-rounder, having lived with other dogs, cats and children. He is very well trained and walks well both on and off the lead. He is very well behaved and quiet in the house.

This friendly boy would love to be part of a family with children, although he would probably prefer the children to not be very young or energetic! He would also do well with a middle aged or older couple or single person. He is a bit overweight at the moment, so will need regular exercise and a sensible diet to get back into shape.

Lucky can live with other dogs and cats. This lovely old lad is just looking for someone who will give him all the love and care he needs so much and has been missing.
